Robert Dorazil
Robert Dorazil transformed United Commercial Development into one of the most active grocery anchored shopping center development companies in the entire country. After leaving college at the University of Texas at Austin, Robert started his real estate career at the Rosebriar Corporation, a family real estate investment and development headquartered in Dallas, TX. He spent 14 years with Rosebriar, the last seven years as president where he was responsible for overseeing all investment activities including new development, acquisitions and dispositions. Two of the developments earned awards in the Dallas Business Journal – Stemmons Crossroads (Best Mixed-Use Development – 1995) and FBI Field Office – Southwestern Division (Best Office Development, 2002).
In 2008, Robert joined United Commercial Development (UCD). He served as its president until 2013 when he became the principal owner and president. As of January 2022, Mr. Dorazil serves solely as principal owner and CEO. Robert has developed over one million square feet with UCD in and around DFW and has built strong tenant relationships as a preferred developer, broker and consultant for various tenants including Kroger, HEB, Walmart, Market Street, Home Depot, LA Fitness and Academy Sports. Robert has developed shopping centers in many area cities including Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Grand Prairie, Plano, Frisco, Prosper, McKinney, Little Elm, Flower Mound, Coppell, Saginaw, and Granbury.
Robert is especially proud of the real estate partnerships he has formed with The Kroenke Group (Stan Kroenke, Otto Maly, Mike Decker), The Kroger Company, North American Development Group (Steve Preston), BAM Capital (Dr. Doug Barnes & Steve Cramer), Rainier Capital (Ken Dunn & Danny Lovell), Venture Commercial (Mike Geisler, John Zikos & Amy Pjetrovic), DB2 Real Estate (David Davidson & Edward Bogel), Segovia Real Estate (Jennifer Frank & Jack Breard), LCG Capital (Cliff & Grant Henderson), Custerado (Dominique & Raphael Blieck), Leadership Properties (Bill & BJ Martin) and Legacy Capital Corporation (Peter Aberg & Steve Saxon).
